Stemies NEWS Description:Relocated a few years ago, Originally Established in 1985 as a Family Style Restaurant at Diner Prices "Where Casual Means Comfortable". Owners/History:Maria & Al Stempo purchased "The Black Horse Inn" in 2002. This Historic Inn was originally built in 1782. Guests ranged from the famous: Louis Comfort Tiffany (heir to the Tiffany jewelry fortune and creator of the Tiffany stained glass craft) to the infamous: Gangster "Johnny the Wop" (see following story). Keep an eye out for our resident ghost: Gangster John Farrara alias "Johnny the Wop". He was shot while on the phone at The Black Horse Tavern in July of 1928.
